Lack of local Toll Free numbers initiates search for new audio and web conferencing supplier
Operating a business on such a large global scale involves constant re-evaluation of suppliers, to ensure that services being received have the ability to grow in-line with the business and that they continue to provide the same benefits whilst economies of scale are maintained.
An Audio and Web conferencing service has always been heavily relied upon throughout Advent to ensure effective communication between all global offices and to provide an expected level of customer service to clients. It has also helped to greatly reduce travel costs which all contribute to the bottom line.
In an effort to ensure that the existing service was being fully utilised, Advent initiated a project to search the market for a supplier who would be able to replace the service they were receiving at the time with a more precise service.
Additionally, Advent were keen to work with a supplier that could also provide local toll and toll free numbers to each one of its seventeen offices.
Indigo Forward met supplier criteria and offered a smooth migration path
Following a review of providers in the market, Advent International chose Indigo forward to replace their existing supplier of Audio and Web conferencing. Martin Stewart, Advent’s IT Manager for Europe and Asia comments, “An important factor in our search was to find a supplier that could not only provide per second billing and global access numbers, but would also be able to assist us in the migration process from our existing supplier with little disruption to our business and minimal use of our own resources.”
Martin continues, “Indigo was chosen as the preferred supplier, on the basis that they met our requirements at every level. Indigo professionally and smoothly managed the UK service transition, closely followed by a roll out to Europe and Asia.”
Enhanced visibility into usage and billing, plus cost savings of 20%
Indigo provided face-to-face training on it’s gomeet range of Web conferencing solutions and online tools at Advent’s London office as well as conducting on-line training for staff based outside the uk.
As a result of working with Indigo, Advent have been able to minimise the resource needed to set up and manage new conferencing accounts, by utilising Indigo’s new online dashboard facility which allows an administrator to access all account information and gives them the ability to add new users, view reports and access online tutorials. permissions can also be granted at user level in line with company policies.
Advent has achieved savings of 20% across the board on their conferencing expenditure simply by switching to Indigo. In addition, Advent have been able to monitor usage more accurately by taking advantage of more transparent billing, which combines web and audio conferencing in one bill.
